Grievance & Redressal

Grievance and Redressal Committee

About the Committee

This cell aims to provide students and staff (teaching & non-teaching) with a platform where they can share their academic and other miscellaneous problems and seek the best advice. The cell ensures that all stakeholders remain satisfied and happy during their stay at MIETW. The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) looks into the complaints lodged by any student and redresses them as per requirement. Students can state their grievance regarding any academic or non-academic matter within the campus through the online form and the grievance / suggestion box.

Functions

  • To create a platform where students can point out their problems regarding academic and non-academic matters.
  • To ensure a fair, impartial, and consistent way for redressal of various issues faced by the stakeholders.
  • To uphold the sanctity of the college by promoting a good relationship amongst students, and a good professional relationship between students and staff (both teaching and non-teaching) and amongst staff.
  • To ensure that grievances are addressed and resolved promptly and in complete confidentiality.
  • To ensure that the views of the grievant and respondent are respected, and that no party to a grievance is discriminated against or victimised.
  • To ensure stakeholders respect the rights and dignity of one another.
  • To take necessary steps for improvement in the light of grievances.

Frequency of Meeting: Four times yearly, and as and when required.
